Rarely, I am usually working at weekends.

Great, I would be delighted he is putting in a lot of effort.
Do you think he is capable?
Yes, he has a great voice, has good looks and very committed
to any task he undertakes.
Are you a musical family and do you sing together?
Yes, there is always a lot of music going on in our house. I
can't sing, but the kids and James do.
How would you feel about him singing around the country and
abroad?
He is already gigging and travelling distances, it would mean
the same thing but larger audiences.
Would you mind moving if you had to for the sake of his career?
It would give me opportunities and a chance to see different

Do you mind the commitment he gives to his music?
I'm committed to the job I do and he doesn't mind and so I
consider music his work and it balances out.
Is it worth it all?
Music paid bills when we needed it too. It is worth it because
it may open up opportunities and it is what James is best
at.
Is it hard on the family?
It is such a normal life to us. We have all grown up with
a musician's lifestyle.
Would you prefer him to have a normal job?
Normal job - Do you mean 9 to 5? James could be a 9 to 5 worker,
but I know that it would not fulfil what he really wants to
do, and that's to be an entertainer and singer. I think being
a musician is a normal job but the hours are different.
Do you miss out on quality time?
I suppose sometimes, yes we do, but we can make efforts and
work around it the best we can.
How do you as a family plan to promote him for You're a Star?
We are willing to be in the public eye, Daniel enjoys taking
pictures and helps in that way and it's a busy time so it's
a time for patience or understanding.
